The Specific-H&P section offers hundreds of Disease-specific, Problem-specific and Sex-Age-specific H&Ps.
The Specific-H&P is a History & Physical exam tailor-made for a particular problem, disease or patient.
It includes the Signs, symptoms, questions, findings for that particular disease. Pertinent positive and pertinent
negative data are usually included.

Important Notice about Specific H&Ps:
|
| |
Specific History and Physical exams in this application are not all-inclusive, not all-exclusive. Users must assume that they are not complete, accurate or up-to date and that they may omit critical data. Users must be aware that critical data for a particular patient may not be included in the H&Ps.
Diseases and Syndromes are clinical entities that present with sets of signs and symptoms. Patients, however, may present with some, few or most of the signs and symptoms of their
disease. This is influenced and conditioned by many interacting factors, like personal characteristics, race, sex, age, genetics, co-morbidities, stage of the disease, etc., etc.
H&Ps in this program include most of the specific signs & symptoms that may be seen in
"classical" cases. In practice this is the exception rather than the rule. Users must be aware that not all patients present with all signs and symptoms and that not all signs and symptoms that may be seen in a particular disease are included. There is a great deal of overlapping.
Most of the signs and symptoms have a low sensitivity and a low specificity.
The H&P and Follow/Up Charts as well as the information on clinical methods must be checked with the original sources and articles. Although this program offers some level of specificity (H&Ps) for diseases and problems, PATIENT CLINICAL ASSESSMENT INDIVIDUALIZATION IS ALWAYS MANDATORY. See the eH&P™ Notice and warnings.
