The Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) Risk Assessment Tool automates the task of Risk assessment.
The tool generates Patient-specific CHD-Risk assessments for Major Risk Factors and Framingham
Point Scores. This tool also incorporates two main pages. The input page contains input fields
for 13 clinical parameters (same numbers as in the Cholesterol Tool), Patient data is entered in this page.
The output page presents the Patient CHD Risk Assessment. It is also displayed in a 2nd browser window,
and contains 2 sections (Patient Data and Risk assessment). This output page may be printed-to-chart
(prints in one letter-size sheet). Changes to inputs can be readily done. The output page
is quickly and automatically re-computed to display the new Assessments.
