    About the Editor

    Dr. Rodriguez is a board-certified Internist. He is an Attending Physician at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College (NY). He did his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Science Center in Farmington, CT. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas and Mexico.

    During his years as a resident, he became very interested in the application of information technology to medicine and decided to pursue an MBA (Master of Business Administration). He is one of the few physicians that has done the full time MBA program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Administration, BOOTH (Chicago, IL).

    Dr. Rodriguez is the editor and developer of many clinical software programs, including Galên™ and MediCalc®, an advanced Medical Calculator System™ for healthcare professionals. The online & mobile app is currently used by tens of thousands of physicians worldwide. He's been reviewed by JAMA (the Journal of the American Medical Association) and other medical journals in multiple occasions.

    In addition to practicing medicine in Houston, He is also a Healthcare management consultant, advisor and a frequent speaker. He is married and has 3 kids.
